The Gospel (literally "good news") of Jesus Christ is that God has declared through His Word, and the Bible, that all people have sinned and fallen short of a relationship with Him. This means we are separated from God due to sin and deserving of eternal punishment. However, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, through His life, death, and resurrection, has provided a way for us to be reconciled with God and receive eternal life. This salvation is a free gift of grace that we can receive by placing our faith in Jesus and trusting in His sacrifice on the cross as payment for our sins. This is the demonstration of God's love for humanity and His desire for us to have a relationship with Him through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.
